Hi Ashesh – although it is called WordCampUK visitors from all over the world are invited and you would be more than welcome to come! All you need is to be able to get to Manchester in July and buy a ticket for the event.

You can visit the main WordCampUK website to find out all the information you need to know – tickets are going on sale in the next few weeks.

Im Ashesh from Nepal.

Wordcamp! im very much interested and desperately want to join wordcamp in UK.
In my country Nepal there is no any stuff going about wordpress, as im wordpress lover since form long time, im very keen to join wordcamp in uk .
as I dont have clear idea about this, that what the process to join wordcamp in 17-18 july in Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, hope some will definitely help me ~~

Looking forward to WordCamp this year. Last year was my first WordCamp and I thoroughly enjoyed it, meeting new people and learning new things. I am sure this years event will be as good if not better.

Jason – yea, me and a friend (who have been to the last 2 WordCamps) were discussing that theme design has been missed out the last couple of years, so I think it’s the perfect time to present on this!

Andrew – I was thinking about going to Ireland, but sadly work has been stacking-up and I just can’t afford the weekend off sadly (yes, I’m pretty much booked out until then and beyond!)

Richard – if it’s your first time, don’t worry – we are a nice bunch of guys (and gals!). You are sure to get some useful WordPress info during the conference no matter what level of development you are at (be it top level plugin developer or just beginning). A nice easy journey for you being based in Manchester yourself – WordCampUK 2008 was based in Birmingham (my hometown) and it was great sleeping in my own bed (and saving a wedge on a naff hotel!)

See you all there – I know there’s quite a way to go but I’m getting really excited about this year already!!

As a WordPress dev from Manchester, I could hardly miss it, could I? Very much looking forward to it, it’ll be my first, of undoubtedly many.
